Wisdom teeth.
Extraction of wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, is a dental procedure to remove these particular teeth. Wisdom teeth are located at the back of the mouth and usually emerge in late adolescence or early adulthood.
However, due to limited space in the jaw, they might not have enough room to properly erupt.
This can lead to various issues such as impaction, crowding, pain, infections, or damage to neighboring teeth.
Here at The Harmony Institute these procedures are routine with excellent outcomes and there is nothing to worry about, even if it all sound a little daunting. You will feel no pain during the procedure, but you will have to take it easy for a few days afterwards.
